The Chase Total Checking account has a $12 monthly fee ($10 for residents of California, Oregon and Washington), which is waived when you: have monthly direct deposits totaling at least $500, keep a daily balance of $1,500 or more, or keep an average daily balance of $5,000 across linked Chase deposit accounts.
