BMO Harris Bank is offering a bonus of up to $200 when you open a personal checking account (cash bonus varies depending on the type of checking account).
The deal
Customers will earn a $150 cash bonus when they sign up for the BMO Harris Everyday Checking account or a $200 cash bonus when they sign up for the BMO Harris Select Checking or Portfolio Checking accounts with a qualified deposit (a single direct deposit of at least $300 within 60 days of account opening.) The deal expires March 31, 2013.
Accounts can be opened online or at a branch to get the cash bonus (no promotional code or materials required).
The accounts
The Everyday Checking account has a monthly fee of $7, which can be avoided with a monthly incoming external deposit of at least $500 or a daily balance of $1,000 or more. The Select Checking account has a monthly fee of $15, which can be waived for BMO Harris home equity customers or those with a $5,000 daily balance. The Portfolio Checking account has a $25 monthly fee, which is waived for mortgage customers with Auto Pay, home equity customers and accounts with more than $25,000.
