This week, PerkStreet Financial closed down, alerting customers that their operations will cease fully on Sept. 26, 2013.
Dan O’Malley, CEO of PerkStreet told MyBankTracker, “We believed until very recently that we had options to continue funding the company… when it became clear that we did not, we simply did not have the capital to pay out the perks that people earned.”
Hundreds of people took to Facebook expressing their concerns, including the fact that all the cash back they had accumulated was a complete and total loss.
