(As of Oct. 4, the promotional page is no longer active — the offer is apparently expired. However, in a previous bank deal, an expired promotional page was reactivated — we’ll update the post if that happens. To find the best checking accounts, visit this page.)
Chase is offering another extremely enticing bonus offer for existing Chase customers who don’t have a Chase checking account (such as those who have Chase savings accounts or credit cards). Existing Chase customers who open a new Chase Total Checking account will receive a $200 bonus when qualifications are met. (There’s also another Chase checking account deal for $150, available to new Chase customers.)
Existing Chase customers must log into their online accounts and visit this promotion page. Every time this page is refreshed, a new one-time coupon code is generated. Either print the page and bring it to the branch or apply online with the generated code.
After signing up for a Chase Total Checking account, you must post a direct deposit within 60 days of account opening to qualify for the $200 cash bonus, deposited within 10 days after qualifications are met.
The minimum opening deposit is $100. The offer expires Oct. 15, 2013 — Chase may end the deal at anytime without notice.
(Non-existing Chase customers may also use this code to open a Chase Total Checking account. You may find an existing Chase customer to retrieve a code for you. The below image includes an available bonus code — first come, first served. Please leave a comment if you’d like a bonus code.)
The Chase Total Checking account is the bank’s basic checking account. It has a $12 monthly fee ($10 in CA, OR , WA), which can be waived with direct deposits totaling at least $500 per month, or a $1,500 minimum daily balance, or an average balance of $5,000 in linked Chase accounts, or at least $25 paid in checking-related services/fees.
