Eurasia Group, a business consultancy, has released its list of the top 10 things to worry about globally in 2014. From America’s troubled alliances to diverging markets, Eurasia Group says global investors, business leaders, and market participants should keep an eye out for these 10 key geopolitical areas.

Since 2008, economic issues like the effects of the Great Recession and the eurozone debt crisis have caused some reason to worry. But this year Eurasia Group says big-picture economics will stabilize while geopolitics may be a cause of concern.

Eurasia Group says the biggest question for the U.S. this year is how lawmakers will (re)define the role America plays in the world, which could affect many nations around the globe.
