Barclaycard: 40,000 Bonus Miles for Opening a Credit Card (March 2014)

Barclaycard is offering 40,000 bonus miles to new customers who open a Barclaycard Arrival World MasterCard and spend a minimum amount.

The deal

To qualify for 40,000 bonus miles, you must sign up for a new Barclaycard Arrival World MasterCard online through this promotional page.

Upon receiving your Arrival World MasterCard, you must spend at least $3,000 on purchases within the first 90 days (40,000 miles are enough to redeem for a $400 travel statement credit).

If all eligibility requirements are not met, or the income you report is insufficient based on your obligations, the account may not be opened or you may receive a Platinum card which has fewer benefits.

The card

The Barclaycard Arrival World MasterCard has an annual fee of $89, which is waived for the first year. This card earn 2 miles for every $1 you spend on all your purchases. The card will give you 10% miles back when you redeem for travel statement credits.

The variable APR for all purchases and balance-transfer balances will be either 14.99% or 18.99%, which will be determined when opening the account based on your creditworthiness.
