PNC: 50,000 Bonus Points for Opening PNC Points Visa Credit Card (April 2014)

PNC Bank is offering 50,000 bonus PNC Rewards points to new customers for opening PNC Points Visa Credit Card and spending the minimum required amount. 

The deal

Sign up for a PNC Points Visa Credit Card online through this promotional page under the “Apply Now” link under the appropriate card.

You’ll receive a response immediately and if approved, your card will arrive within 7 to 10 business days.

To qualify for the 50,000 points, you must make $750 or more in qualifying purchases on your PNC Points Visa Credit Card during the first 3 billing cycles following account opening. Some limited transactions, such as cash advances, are excluded.

The 50,000 bonus points will be awarded within 90 days after you meet the requirements.

This offer expires Jun. 30, 2014.

The card

PNC Points Visa Credit Card has no annual membership fee.

The card earns four points for every $1 in qualifying purchases.

In addition, earn bonus rewards when you have a qualifying checking account and meet minimum balance or direct deposit requirements in that account.

  • Get a 75% bonus on the base points you earn with a PNC Performance Select checking account.
  • Get a 50% bonus on the base points you earn with a PNC Virtual Wallet with Performance Spend or PNC Performance checking account.
  • Get a 25% bonus on the base points you earn with a PNC Virtual Wallet.

There is no limit to the amount you can earn and your cash back rewards never expire.

This card offers an introductory 0% APR on purchases for the first 12 billing cycles following account opening. In addition, get an introductory 0% APR on balance transfers for the first 12 billing cycles (when the balance is transferred within the first 90 days).

After the introductory period, you will receive a variable APR based on your credit. The variable APR is currently 11.99% to 21.99%. This APR will vary with the market, based on the Prime Rate.
