A new patent application reveals that Apple may be working on a concept that allows users to lend money to each other.
The patent shows a system where an iPhone user announces requests for cash and someone nearby can provide it. Apple and the lender will split a fee, presumably collected through iTunes (along with the borrowed amount), says TechCrunch.
Such a feature might come in handy when cash is needed and there’s not ATM around.
