The merchant-services division of Bank of America has introduced a platform that allows clients (aka merchants) to manage deals and offers through a web portal called iDeals.

“Bank of America Merchant Services clients can log in to the iDeals website, enter information about an upcoming event or deal and post information that can be found by consumers using search engines, social media sites, local shopping directories, and deal publishing sites.”

The introduction of this merchant service coincides with the bank’s nationwide launch of its BankAmeriDeals program, which offers discounts and deals that can be loaded onto Bank of America cards. With an easier way for merchants to market their deals, Bank of America’s 9 million mobile banking customers will see more offers under the BankAmeriDeals program — and more savings on their purchases.
