Bank of America is piloting Visa’s digital wallet service, called V.me, so that customers can easily shop online without having to enter their card payment information and billing and shipping details.
“V.me offers customers a greatly simplified and secure checkout process when shopping online without sharing their financial information,” said David Godsman, online and mobile solutions executive at Bank of America, in a prepared statement.
After enrolling in V.me, Bank of America customers simply log in with their V.me credentials at participating online merchants when they are ready to pay for their purchases.
