Prosperity Buys Coppermark for $194 Million

Coppermark Bank has been acquired by Prosperity Bancshares for $194 million, reports NewsOK.

As the state’s 12th-largest bank, Coppermark Bank operated six branches in Oklahoma City, three in Dallas, and had assets totaling $1.3 billion.

Houston-based Prosperity Bancshares runs Prosperity Bank, with more than 200 locations throughout Texas.

The merger will close in the first quarter of 2013 and operational integration will begin in the second quarter.
