Discover Bank has dropped the interest rates on its 12-, 18- and 24-month certificates of deposit (CDs).
The 12-month CD rate fell from 1.00% APY to 0.90% APY. The 18- and 24-month CD rates each fell 0.05% APY — 1.05% APY to 1.00% APY and 1.15% APY to 1.10% APY, respectively. The rate changes are the same for the IRA versions of the CDs.
