Disney is testing a hassle-free park experience that incorporates mobile payments. Chairman of the Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Tom Staggs announced that it will be rolling out the MyMagic+ experience at Disney World.
MyMagic+ offers families the flexibility to plan ahead through the My Disney Experience website and mobile app. Families can book attractions and dining in advance, as well as using an enhanced FastPass system.
A new MagicBand has also been introduced, which is a wristband that incorporates a guest’s room key, theme park ticket, as well as payment options to use throughout the park.
Certain aspects of MyMagic+ are currently being tested throughout parts of Disney World.
