Dwolla Holds End-of-Year Referral Promotion

Dwolla, the increasingly popular online-payments company, is running a promotion that rewards current Dwolla users for referring their friends to the low-cost digital payment network.

Until the end of the year, Dwolla users who successfully refer a new Dwolla user will receive $10 in credit — good toward their transaction fees. The newly referred Dwolla user also receives a $10 credit.

With Dwolla, users pay a 25 cent transfer fee to receive money, unless the sender opts to cover that fee. There is no transfer fee for Dwolla transactions of $10 or less.
