GE Capital Retail Bank Completes Transition of MetLife Bank Deposit Accounts

GE Capital Retail Bank, which agreed to purchase MetLife Bank in late 2011, has completed the transition of MetLife Bank’s deposit accounts.

Now, customers have to visit GE Capital Retail Bank’s website to manage their online accounts. Prospective customers will no longer see deposit products at the MetLife Bank website (again, visit GE Capital Retail Bank’s site).

Currently, GE Capital Retail Bank offers money market accounts and CDs (also available in IRAs).
