Google has taken another step closer to becoming a bank with the launch of AdWords Business Credit. The program, which will first launch for for United Kingdom customers and later roll out in the United States, offers credit to small business to boost their online ad spend with Google.

While the decision to a launch in the U.K. seems interesting, Google has been running a pilot in the U.S. with 1,400 companies for more than a year.
