The hacker group that has claimed responsibility for causing recent site outages at several major banks is back at it again, according to Bank Info Security.
Chase, Bank of America, U.S. Bank, PNC Bank and SunTrust Bank are the hacktivists next targets (some of which they’ve already attacked in the past).
In previous big-bank site outages, the group reportedly launch distributed denial-of-service (DDos) attacks that overloaded websites with large amounts of traffic — enough to prevent customers from logging into their accounts.
Luckily, there are ways that customers can prepare for these types of site outages.
