The team over at Mintlife have created an infographic that breaks down the last 80 years of U.S. regulation and deregulation and highlights the industries most affected by the various events. Going as far back as the Great Depression in 1929, the inforgraphic really shines light on how the FDIC has changed their deposit insurance coverage limits over the years. Did you know that when the FDIC was created in 1933, the standard deposit coverage was $2,500. Today all American bank customers receive $250,000 in federal reserve coverage.

Here is a link to the inforgaphic.
