JPMorgan Chase ranks first in a new U.S. customer satisfaction survey, dethroning rivals such as Wells Fargo, who has claimed the top spot for 11 years among big banks.
According to Reuters, the customer survey, given annually by the American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI), speaks to 70,000 customers about their satisfaction with banks’ checking, savings and personal loan accounts.
ACSI found that fees were among the top concerns for customers. Small banks and credit unions scored higher than big banks, with JPMorgan Chase scoring a 74 on a 100-point scale, Wells Fargo at 71, Citibank at 70 and Bank of America at 66.
