Mobile Users Want Clean Sites to Check Accounts

Updated on Thu Sep 27, 2012

According to a new study by Google on where mobile users spend most of their time on mobile banking apps, checking account balances is most important with a 77% response rate. The picture below shows the most important banking and finance tasks for mobile users, and touching money comes after looking at it. Perhaps people are afriad of the security of mobile banking sites, or do it instead on the app. Maybe they refuse to do any of this on the phone, away from the computer.

Information is always prime as you can see from the other results of the survey: checking flight information, getting directions to a store, etc. That will always take the lead compared to purchases.
