MoneyPass expanded its network to include surcharge-free ATM access at more than 2,000 Walmart Stores.

“By adding Walmart MoneyCenter Express locations, we can help card issuers provide a greater service to their cardholders, said MoneyPass president Douglas Miraglia, in a press statement.

Many banks and credit unions are partnered with MoneyPass to extend surcharge-free ATM access to customers. The deal with Walmart means more consumers will have more access to surcharge-free ATM withdrawals, especially given the frequency of which some shoppers visit Walmart. Customers will find the MoneyPass logo on their cards if the cards can be used at MoneyPass ATMs.

MoneyPass touts a network of more than 23,000 ATMs nationwide, more than 1,400 participating financial institutions and 60 million active cards.

Moneypass advertises the ATMs as surcharge free, that doesn’t mean that your own bank won’t charge you a fee..which of course they don’t tell you.
