NCR Corporation, maker of ATMs for many of the nation’s banks, expects multiple Top 10 U.S. banks to begin piloting a technology that allows bank customers to interact with live tellers through video-conferencing on an ATM.
“Video banking — or, as we prefer to call it, remote assisted service — will continue to gain momentum in the U.S. and other countries in 2013,” said NCR executive vice president, Peter Leav, in a news release.
The first bank in the country to install video-teller ATMs is Dollar Bank.
