Old National Bank will acquire 24 Bank of America branches located in Northern Indiana and Southwest Michigan cities.
The Indiana-headquartered Old National has $9.4 billion in assets and the acquisition will give the company more than 200 banking centers.
The bank said in a prepared statement that the transaction will give Old National growth in Northern Indiana and “the state of Michigan [has] long been a focus of Old National.”
Old National stated that it does not anticipate job losses as a result of the transaction.
