Credit Card Losses Increase In November

An increase in late payments caused some large credit card lenders to accumulate loan losses last month, although the losses are still “near historic lows,” according to Dow Jones Newswires.

Capital One, Discover and American Express were among those to report losses. The slowly recovering economy makes consumers wary of carrying big balances, leading to less revenue for lenders.
