Park State Bank, based in Minneapolis, Minn., is offering a checking account that allows customers to earn $5 per month, which can be used toward music, movie, TV show and app downloads from Apple iTunes or Amazon.
The account, called Kasasa Tunes, is made available through the bank’s partnership with Kasasa, a company that designs financial products for community banks and credit unions.
The Kasasa Tunes checking accounts has no monthly service fee. To earn the download credits, customers must opt for paperless account statements, use online banking at least once per month and have at least 12 debit-card purchases per month.
