PNC Bank to Temporarily Suspend Evictions

As the holiday season enters full gear, PNC Bank is offering a bit of relief for struggling homeowners.

PNC Bank said it will halt evictions nationwide, from Dec. 17, 2012 to Jan. 2, 2013, on foreclosed homes that are owned by the bank.

“We hope this suspension provides families who are experiencing financial hardship some stability over the holiday season,” said Saiyid Naqvi, CEO of PNC’s mortgage division, in prepared remarks.
