The rewards checking accounts offered by AmericaNet Bank, Evantage Bank and Redneck Bank are open to new customers nationwide once again. The accounts were previously marked — as “sold out.”
The three online banks are Internet divisions of three Oklahoma banks that are owned by the same family, according to DepositAccounts.com.
Currently, the rewards checking accounts are paying 2.00% APY on balances up to $10,000 and 0.50% APY on amounts over $10,000. To earn these attractive rates, customers have to make 10 debit card transactions per month and sign up for electronic statements.
