Chase continues to shine as the top provider of mobile banking services, according to a new study by Javelin.
An article in Mobile Commerce Daily notes that Chase took first place for the second year in a row, benefitting from advanced features such as mobile check deposit and person-to-person payments.
“Those who rose to the top of the list started by providing wide access for their customers by offering mobile banking through SMS text, mobile Web and downloadable app,” said Mary Monahan, executive vice president and research director for mobile at Javelin Research and Strategy, Pleasanton, CA.
“They must provide coverage for all the major smartphones and tablets — Android, Apple, Windows and BlackBerry,” she said. “Those are the basics.

Bank of America came in second place in the study. Capitol One, USAA and Wells Fargo tied for third place, according to Mobile Commerce Daily.
