TransUnion, one of the three major U.S. credit bureaus, has launched its very own online tool — called TransUnionPlus, that helps users monitor their credit and other financial accounts, including bank accounts, credit cards and investment accounts.
“Consumer can stay on top of not only their credit information and identity, but they can manage their day-to-day spending as well — during the holiday season — and all year round,” said Heather Battison, senior director of consumer education at TransUnion, in a prepared statement.
In addition to being able to check account balances, TransUnionPlus allows users to track their credit score and receive alerts of potential identity theft and credit fraud.
The tool can be accessed online and through a native mobile application.
TransUnionPlus does have a steep monthly fee — $29.95 or $39.95, depending on the features you want.
