Visalia Community Bank Bought By Fresno-Based Bank

Locally owned Visalia Community Bank is merging with Central Valley Community Bank by the second quarter of 2013, reports the Visalia Times-Delta.

The Fresno-based Central Valley Community Bank purchased the smaller institution earlier this week for $22.1 million, though the transaction has yet to be finalized.
