Great customer service, great hours and they are everywhere! Checking account rates/features aren't much to brag about but if you have a certain level of funds in your account they refund ATM fees.

I have had an account with ING since 2003. Over that period of time I was opening a new 1-year CD every month (no minimum investment) as it had the highest rates around - even higher than investment/brokerage firms that required $5-10k mins. Even the ING savings account APRs are the best I can find (again with no minimums). ING makes it so easy to open new CDs/savings accounts that I have recommended it to many friends/family (especially since they have a great referral bonus!!). I have never had a problem with any of my accounts over the past 5 years and expect to continue to use ING for other investment areas in the future...home loan, retirement, business.
