Time will tell...

While I see that the GMAC Bank reviews have been ported over to Ally and I'd say that is fair since it is the same bank. However it's to early to see if Ally lives up to the hype they've generated with their re-branding. Only time will tell if the "new" bank lives up to the "marketing" buzz words; loyality, integrity etc. Look forward to hearing from GMAC/Ally Bank clients over the next few months to see if they actually see a difference.

Canadian Version

It was great to see the RBC or the Royal Bank of Canada included on mybanktracker.com. As a Canadian I can't speak to the "quality" of the US affiliate but I can certainly give them a 4 star rating as a satisfied customer with over 30 years experience in Canada. Rates are competitive, fees are negotiable, their branch staff offer excellent customer service and the banks customer loyalty program means they will match and or beat any competitive offer from any of the other major institutions. Only reason I wonât give them 5 out 5 stars is that they do not offer evening banking hours with a few exceptions and âmostâ branches are closed on the weekend in Canada.
