The free checking account is convenient. WaMu in general is a great bank to use, accessible tellers and long branch hours.

I haven't really had much other experience with other online accounts, but this account is incredibly secure and very user-friendly. The interest rates are also amazing. The more you save, the more you earn!

Citibank offers you the same services that most other free checking accounts do, such as WaMu and Commerce, but with annoying fees! I say that while reliable, if you are looking for basic checking, go with one of the free accounts. However, it is advantageous to have an account with Citibank if you are seeking other financial services from this institution.
