“Excellent Customer Service”
USAA in every aspect delivers superior quality service. They have reasonable insurance rates, a great website, excellent customer service and are pleasant and helpful to deal with. Their customer service professionals are just that, professionals. They are courteous as well as knowledgeable. I have never had a bad experience in dealing with any of their representatives. They also have a very good website and free ATM usage at any ATM within a limited number of transactions. I will continue doing business with them for many years. They are my bank and my insurance provider of choice.
“Customer Service Needs Help”
I know things are tight for everyone including banks. I find BofA's customer service attitude very lacking. I called last night to ask for a transfer from my Credit Card since I show a CR balance on my account. The customer service person began to discuss how they had had to make adjustments for me previously. Excuse Me? Hello? Is this customer service?--I guess I'm just a bother. They also told me to call back 7 days from the posting date of the credit. In the past, they have been unhelpful and unwilling to divulge useful information. I had another rep lecture me about something else, that I cannot recall. I find it weird however, that they give lectures to customers rather than good friendly service. I closed my credit card account and will be closing my checking account as well. When I closed my credit card account, there was no question asked. It's as if they really don't care about losing business. I guess they don't understand that it is we who pay their salaries.
Their fees ARE outlandish. They charge and overcharge for everything and anything and their credit card rate was extraordinarily high. They are unflexible, mindless, unfriendly, non caring and are of the poorest quality. One of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. Sure, they have tons of ATMs and branches; however, I'd rather pay a fee at an ATM than give my hard earned cash to Bank of America.
