    No Customer Service

    There is no such thing as customer service at Alpine Bank. As others have said they are all about themselves and how YOU can serve them. Interview other banks, it will be well worth your time. I wish I could give this review 0 stars.

    Phenomenal

    In the process of moving my business and personal accounts from a major national bank, I have spent the last two months conducting an extremely thorough vetting of every local bank and credit union in downtown Denver via in-person and phone meetings, as well as online research. Alpine Bank is very clearly heads and tails above the rest. They are very professional, courteous, friendly, straightforward, have clear policies, and excellent communication about fees.

    My experience with Kari Mundschau made my final decision to bank with Alpine especially easy. She has been amazingly proactive, responsive, and has gone above and beyond to provide me extremely helpful information around financing that will assist me in scaling my business faster. She seems to truly value building powerful, long-term relationships, and making a positive impact in the small business community.

    I really look forward to a successful, long-term relationship with Alpine Bank.

    The worst people to work with

    This bank has the worst policies and people. They have no regard for the customers. They want to limit me to 5K a day spending for my business and my customers. Even though there's plenty of money in my accounts they still decline transactions for a lack of funds because I spent more than 5K that day. They wouldn't raise my limits and have forced me to move to another bank that's in a completely different town...

    Absolutely Phenomenal!

    Eric and the team at Alpine bank have gone above and beyond to help our small business succeed. They are "real" people so to speak and not stuffy/ grouchy bankers. Their communication, professionalism and more than that- their continual offers of their expertise even if it does not benefit them to help us maneuver financial waters.
    We have had such a great experience with them that we even had our son open his first checking account there. In our 13 years of business, we have never had such a positive banking experience!

    Horrible

    My Fiance's Mother had unauthorized withdrawals from her account they made her close her debit card and get a new one before the card even got here there was someone already using it so she had to close that card now she is flagged from getting debit cards at any bank. Then my Fiances account started getting his after her mother closed hers. Same thing closed debit card told her couldn't happen with ATM card so got that. the next month charges started coming out again. Using her account number and the routing number. Problem is she don't have checks or anything that would give the routing number.. She keeps disputing to no avail. so she removes her money and leave the account sit empty. Well even tho the account is empty they keep allowing charges to post rather then declining them. My Fiance is almost $400 in the hole now. Refuses to block the charges no matter what we tell them. They don't give a damn about their customers.

    alpine bank is all about alpine bank, not people

    This bank has taken bail out monies. I have had some difficult times trying to make my payments, all you get are threats, about taking everything you have and putting liens on your property, I tried to refinance to lower the payments but I was told they would not do that. I "HAD TO PAY NOW".NO CONSIDERATION TO A PERSONS PLIGHT,they told me "you took the money now you pay". Rude inconsiderate, unhelpfull. If you have an account with this bank, take it out now!!!!
