Nichols, N.Y. Branch
I don't know what branches the bad reviews were about but I have been banking with the Nichols, NY branch for so many years I don't even remember the year I started banking there. Has to be somewhere around 40 years I think. I love my bank and would be devastated if I had to change. I used to live part time in Florida and had personal experience with accounts in 3 different banks there. 2 were not good experiences. 1 was OK. Believe me - Nichols Branch is excellent.Thank you for your feedback Is this review helpful?

One Of The Best In The Area
Big fan of the free checking plan, had it for two years and have never had a single fee. Friendly customer support and free atms, wish they had a branch in belmont though. All systems work like a bank should, take money out when you need it and store it when you don't.Thank you for your feedback Is this review helpful?

This bank is large in New York's Southern Tier and the North Country. I opened my first ever checking account there because they had a branch right on my rural college campus. I really shouldn't have because I switched within a year. My "Free" account was charged for initial checks as well as a charge of $.10 for every time I used my debit card (credit or debit). It;s not a lot but it adds up quickly when that's all you use! Tellers always seem pissed off to help you too! They're are better banks out there!Thank you for your feedback Is this review helpful?
