We have built large homes for many years and Invested in land. We took a hit when the building industry dropped about 6 yrs ago. We have been struggling since. After having perfect credit for 20 yrs then falling behind, we went to 5 different banks they all said" We are not working with Contractors or loaning money on raw land." ( Mind you the land is free of all debts). FIRST COMMUNITY BANK was the only one to put faith in us and loan us money. WE WILL REMEMBER WHO HELPED US OUT IN TIME OF NEED. Thank you for helping the little man it will come back in ten folds.Thank you for your feedback Is this review helpful?

Would strongly discourage anyone from banking with First Community Bank of Batesville
I was a valuable customer for 8 years. I recently learned how dishonest this bank is with its customers. First of all, I learned that they didn't follow standard banking practices in 2011 during a refinance loan. They even overlooked false tax returns that my ex-husband submitted.
My attorney recently had a conversation with a bank attorney and she told him I should not have believed the bank officers. Wow! Now that is scary if you can't trust the bank officers (President and Vice-President of the Community Bank. Really?
If you can trust the bank officers, might not be the right business partner.
