    Credit card customer service

    I called credit card customer service today (I wish I hadn't). I spoke to Rose at the TF# on the credit card statement. My intent was to obtain the pay off balance so I could pay it off today. The cust. svc agent was very unhelpful and even to the point of being snide. She says "we don't give out that information". My reaction was really? Then I thought ok I will pay my bill on line on their website and add a few dollars more. NO!, the d**** web site won't let you pay more than the balance. ARGHHH. So I set up bill pay account on my checking account. I paid the full balance and then I'll wait a few days and pay a couple of extra bucks. I am done with the cc company.

    This bank sucks!

    I hate this bank. I used them exclusively for a credit card. They would make phone calls before a payment was even due, and then they charge a late fee if you pay on the due date, but not at the time that they like. They have extremely rude associates, and I hate dealing with them.

    Horrible and unethical

    I would rate it less than a 1 if possible. The bank called at 9:00am on the due date too collect the monthly payment without the possibility of the day's mail being processed. The bank employee even went so far as to ask for my wife's cell phone number when I explained I was certain my wife had mailed the payment; my wife is not even listed on the account. This is not the first time the bank has called on the morning of the actual due date and without confirming my wife had made an online payment. Their practices are not consistent with Consumer Protection laws and are frankly, unethical!
