Looks Like They Are Acting Like The Big Banks...
Looks like ibc is engaging in the same activity as the big banks. Banks like chase; bank of america; wells fargo and others. They process transactions in a way that can boost their overdraft charges. Charging account holders multiple overdraft charges in one day because they are processing daily transactions from largest to smallest; not in the order that the charges occurred. That way they can charge people three overdraft charges rather than one. I went to the branch bank and spoke with the branch manager. He danced all around my questions regarding this practice. He told me that the â?? Statementâ?? (which showed a positive balance the day before the 3 od charges they assessed me and a positive balance the day after the od charges) doesnâ?? T reflect the activity for my account. It is the statement they send me! It is the ibc statement! He just continued to try to justify the 3 od charges they charged me on that day! Who was he trying to convince? The banks, i mentioned above, have all been sued for this practice (class action lawsuits). Almost every one of them is settling out of court for millions of dollars! I thought ibc was a 'hometown' kind of bank. Guess i am wrong! Ibc bank, just one more greedy bank preying on its account holders.Thank you for your feedback Is this review helpful?
