About the Bank

Liberty Bank was opened for business on April 7, 1982 and has since operated as a full service, community bank. In the Spring of 1985, Liberty Bank purchased its current South San Francisco building and moved its Headquarters and Main Office to this site in November of the same year. Liberty Bank was founded as an independent, community bank. The Bank has been an active member of the communities it serves, and as such, has been able to respond to the financial needs of its customers.

    2016 CD Rate for Overall Relationship with Bank Drops by .05

    This is the smallest bank in Santa Cruz County, along Highway 9, and central in Felton.
    Parking is average in front. The bank in 2016 has been documented to be now dropping each established customer CD rates .05 based on an overall relations with bank, established CD accounts, renewing with additional funds. This is not a welcome move, by the new bank board. The established customers, probably will need to withdrawal CD's to more competitive area banks, as losing .05 on all renewals. This is a tight bank in the day.
