    Disappointing Customer Service & Relationships

I have had an on and off relationship with the Kansas City branch of the bank. Professionalism and follow-through with customer concerns is lacking especially with the regional president and the branch manager. Front-line bankers who have contact with customers are always friendly and professional, but senior management engagement is lacking. I have sent comments to customer service about this but nothing changes. I'm not sure why the bank is here. Its footprint on this community is hard to find. I recently left a voicemail with the regional president concerning a large legal settlement I wanted to deposit at the bank, but never received a return call. I was passionate about banking black in my community, but with the the way I have been treated primarily by senior leadership, I have decided that this bank is incapable of providing banking services. The bank is just not equipped to provide banking services from a lack of technology to a passion of being competitive in this market. The flagship branch doesn't even have an atm. The newly constructed branch has no drive-thru and the atm is not accessible after closing. The previous branch location which this branch replaced had both. In my judgement, the bank in this market is going the wrong way--from providing more services to providing less services. The bank should make a decision about what it wants to accomplish in this market and then take communicate its vision and take an all-in approach from technology to training to customer service to financial leadership in the community. Otherwise, it should cease operations in this market. It's just very disappointing for those of us who want a black-owned bank in the Kansas City market.
