About the Bank

Pinnacle Bank's goal is to be the best community bank in Georgia. The bank has locations across the state in cities both large and small, offering personal, business and investment banking services. If you need personal banking solutions, Pinnacle offers checking, savings, money market and CD accounts. You can also get advice and help with retirement planning, or apply for a loan to fit almost any financial need.

Pinnacle's checking account options include Totally Free Checking, 50+ Free Interest Checking, VIP Free Interest Checking and High Yield Interest Checking. The Totally Free Checking account has no minimum balance requirement and no monthly service charge. The minimum balance to open is just $50. The 50+ Free Interest Checking account is for seniors aged 50 and over who want to earn a competitive interest rate on their checking balance, with no monthly service charge. Like the Totally Free Checking account, the minimum opening deposit is a low $50.

VIP Free Interest Checking also pays interest on balances with no monthly service charge. This account allows you to set up direct deposits and take advantage of automated bill pay for convenient money management. The High Yield Interest Checking account is designed for checking customers who maintain a daily minimum balance of $2,500 or more. You can earn even more interest when your balance exceeds $5,000. This account typically doesn't have a monthly maintenance charge as long as your balance stays above the $1,000 mark.

You can link any of these accounts to one of Pinnacle Bank's savings or money market accounts. Simple Savings is a classic savings account that allows you to earn interest while being able to access your funds at any time at the ATM. The Captain Summit Savings account can be opened for kids aged 18 or younger, with no minimum balance requirement or monthly service charge. A Christmas Club account is also an option if you want to set aside money for holiday shopping throughout the year. Pinnacle Bank automatically mails you a check for your account balance each November so you don't have to worry about scheduling a withdrawal or transfer.

If you have $2,500 or more to save, you can open a Pinnacle Bank Money Market account. CD accounts can be opened with $500 or $1,000, depending on the term. CDs can have maturities of 7 days, up to 4 years and you can use the money in your CD as collateral for a loan with Pinnacle. The bank offers a special 12-month Rate Riser CD, which allow you to bump up your CD rate once during the maturity term. These CDs have a $500 minimum opening deposit.

Pinnacle's Systematic Saver account gives you the competitive rate of a CD with the flexibility of a regular savings account. You can open an account with $25 and schedule automatic recurring transfers to watch your money grow hassle-free. Pinnacle makes it easy to manage these and any of your other accounts 24/7 through online, mobile and telephone banking.
