Very disappointed; no option foreffective link to local bank

After I opened the account, the told me that I have to do transfers in/out from my local bank which offers a low yield and no on-line banking (that is why I opened the On-Line savings account at Silvergate.

When I questioned, they told me that I have to make deposit by mail or wire )for a fee) and make withdrawal by bank check or wire - again for a fee.

A true on-line bank account should offer effective linking to another bank at their own platform.

    Very disappointed.
