Do Not Bank Here
I came with to this company, everyone was telling me that they were good to bank with, but now I'm seeing the opposite. I needed a first time buyer's car loan, not approved for that, a while later, lost my prepaid debit card that I use to pay all my bills, only needed $200 while I waited for the card to come in the mail, not approved for that. But anything involved in taking your money you are approved for. Ever since I've had this bank account, nothing positive has come out of it. I had to go to one of the branches to do an application for a first time buyer's loan, and when I got called back into the room where I would meet with a loan officer he looked me up and down, almost like he was disgusted that I was there, didn't ask too many questions, disapproved my loan, sent me on my way. I was in there no more than 5 minutes. My credit was okay, the only thing I could think of was not being on my job any more than 1-2 months. I asked about a cosigner, and he said they need to have banked with SECU for a year (out of the 2 times I have called that day no one gave me that same info, I just needed a co signer because of my job length)(and I have a really good job btw). Nothing positive has come from this bank, so it's time to cut the cord.Thank you for your feedback Is this review helpful?
