About the Bank
In the summer of 1941, a small group of local businessmen in Allentown decided to organize a bank. With Allentown being located in four counties, it was agreed that the new bank should serve this four county area and be named The Four County Bank. The original seven charter members and directors submitted an application for a state charter which was approved. The Four County Bank opened for business September 15, 1941.
