Horrible! By far the worse
This is the worst bank I have ever been with. They closed my account and sent back 5 checks and kept my paycheck after my 2nd bounced check in 9 months. They stated they would release my paycheck after they paid all the fees for the returned checks. Now mind you I had to borrow money to chase down all the checks and pay them to prevent them from sending them back through the bank since Union decided to charge a $29 fee each time one came back. My account was not frozen due to IRS or anything related to the government. It was completely a 'bank" decision as I was unreliable by having 2 bounced checks within a year. By the time they were down sending back checks I paid over $250 in fees. Don't use them.Thank you for your feedback Is this review helpful?

I am a single mom living week to week. I have never complained about bounced check fees when I make the mistake. But this bank is intentionally altering the time line of items to charge as many bounced check fees as possible. They have changed debit items along with checks to pay the largest first causing excessive fees. I had to go into the bank last week with proof that the debit items had cleared fine before the check items and their comment was the debit items actually only memo posted to the account and didn't hard hit until after the checks.
Coincidentally the debit items just happened to hit from largest to smallest! Last week my car loan was taken out of my account even though I bought a new car with a different bank and had revoked authorization to remove all car payments. I called this branch and was put on hold for 20 minutes. Then I was promised a call back. It never happened! I had to call the main office in Morristown VT to get help sending the payment back.
The customer service does not exist in this bank!!! They do not care about you unless you have lots of money. They do not care to help people or take the time to help. AVOID this bank at all costs!Thank you for your feedback Is this review helpful?
