I have had consistently poor experiences with this bank. The teller(s) seem like they do not want to be bothered and waiting for a manager or sr associate to help you at a desk is a disorganized mess. To top it off, the address on my account changed for no reason. This caused major problems for me.Thank you for your feedback Is this review helpful?

To make a long story short - I inadvertently accumulated $935 in fees within a few weeks on my Univest checking account. It was an oversight on my part that I addressed the issue as soon as I was aware of what was going on. I went to the branch manager, Deb, to take responsibility for my mistake and take preventative action so it wouldn't happen again. I requested for her to waive the fees which she was unwilling to do. To me, and pretty much anyone else on this planet, $935 in fees is downright outrageous, especially when my account has been in good standing for years. Instead of working with me, she takes the spiteful "high school principal" route. I felt as if I was being punished and reprimanded for my oversight. I've dealt with many companies/banks and my experience with Univest was downright embarrassing. Instead of feeling like a valued customer, I ended up being a quick buck for them. It took going to the VP of the bank to make any headway and still, they were stubborn as they come. A very disappointing and discouraging experience overall. I will be taking my business elsewhere and I would highly advise to everyone to do the same.Thank you for your feedback Is this review helpful?

Consolidated banking and finances
We consolidated almost all financial accounts here when other user-friendly local banks hit tough times and were bought by big, less-friendly banks. Very happy with their banking, financial and investment support, and integrated trust departments. Can't comment on their insurance products...don't use.Thank you for your feedback Is this review helpful?
