    Terrible Customer Service

I am not a member here but I had to come in to complete the purchase of a vehicle through a private party and it was awful! We were given incorrect information over the phone and when we got there the lady that was supposed to help us was extremely rude and unprofessional. The first red flag was when they said they wanted to hold a check from my bank for 10 days before clearing it and if I didn't want to wait I had to bring in cash.... which I did. However, even with the cash, the process that should have been simple and quick is now taking a minimum of two weeks because of the outdated methods used by this bank. Extremely disappointed in my experience and I would advise everyone to stay away from this bank, especially if you are looking for a loan! They are terrible.

5 year extensive banking with this bank

This bank took 90 million from FDIC and purchase CountyBank, a community bank. Westamerica sought to abuse the existing customers by charging as much as they could and do as little as they could for the existing customers. They could care less about the existing mortgages or the community. All they wanted to do as to cash on the FDIC money and the excessive fees. Their profits have been obcene their services very weak.
