Burglars Bandits & Thieves
This bank is an absolute joke. Although always current on payments they put us into a default situation from which we could not recover. The default was collateral value. Although value on commercial property has diminished this bank-ordered appraisal was laughable. We requested another appraisal for which we would pay for. When the 2nd appraisal was complete they would not share the results - their exact words: "it was not completed according to methods approved by the bank"? This was in spite of having 7 other performing loans with the bank.
For the remaining 7 loans, I spent 6 months trying to plan for maturity calling my banker at least every other week. First couple of times it was "checking with higher ups". Then I never heard back from them. Finally I get a letter from Burglars Bandits & Thieves that they have sold my loans to a loan shark.
I could go on but suffice to say - stay away from this institution.Thank you for your feedback Is this review helpful?

Horrible, by far the worst bank I've ever delt with.
Have had my account open for over a month and they put a hold on a 50.00 cash deposit I made when I first opened my account. Called the 1-800 # for over an hour and they finally transferred me to my local branch. I spoke with a girl named Heather and she said she has no clue why there is a hold and then said she could not remove it. After several calls I finally threatened to call my attorney if they didn't remove the hold and after another hour of holding they removed it and said "Sorry, it was an electronic error". The next day I had a 36.00 overdraft fee because of the hold they put on the 50.00 and I called again and they removed the fee. The following day I had a 2.00 charge for using the phone service, Seriously!! I had to make another call and have it removed. I went to the Gardendale location today to get my payroll check cashed and was told they couldn't cash it because my account was new and I didn't have enough to cover the check. The Roebuck location cashed it the week before with no problems. I told the lady never mind,I'll get it cashed somewhere else and she pretty much threw the check at me. I then asked them to close my account. Everyone at the location was VERY rude and stuck up. Everyone please save yourself the trouble and find a real bank.Thank you for your feedback Is this review helpful?
