    Horrible Customer Service

    I took 200 from my account ATM machine only gave 180 receipt indicated 200 had been given. Screen display indicated issue with machine. Called bank to get refunded. They said by law they have 10 days and said they tried helping me with my request to acess cash.

    This bank is nuts. Help me with my request?? That is my money not theirs, I pay them in fees and interest on loans to make sure my cash is available to me when I need it. They are not doing anyone any favors they are getting paid to do it and doing a very bad job at that. Then their attitude, we are regulated by the government and can do not answer to the depositors. Well they wont have to answer to me again. Closing all my accounts and moving cash to a bank that is not uppity.

    I applied for a loan and was approved, declined, approved and declined. While skyrocketing my rate from 2%

    I applied for a mortgage with BMO Harris. I have been paying on time for the last 4 years, and have a 7% rate. BMO started a plan to help customers in my situation so I applied. I a was a approved for a load that saved me $150,000. My interest rate dropped from 7% to 2.50% and from 30 years to 15 years. Meanwhile the broker I was dealing with quit the company and my paperwork fell thru the cracks. 2 months later I am sent a letter declining me because the paperwork was not completed. So, I call BMO and speak to a manager who says they will take care of everything because it was their fault and no worries. So, I am then sent a new approval this time with an increased rate. I call and complain again and then I get a letter that states that my credit score is not high enough (675-700)and declined. Since then I have proceeded to file complaints with the CFPB. BMO continues to say that since my score was too low I cannot get a refinance. So, now I am looking to file a class action lawsuit against BMO HARRIS. I believe there has to be many more individuals who are being wronged by BMO. If you feel you have been wronged please shoot me an email [Redacted]

    BMO Harris + Online Banking = Oxymoron

    Okay. I became a reluctant Harris Bank customer in the early 2000s because their branch office was in our local neighborhood and my husband wanted to make the switch. Under Harris Bank, they weren't overly sophisticated but made up for it by being friendly, nice and reliable. Enter BMO, exit friendly, nice and reliable.

    This giant bank can't keep its website up and functioning. I had issues over the weekend (it was intermittently available) and received on screen messages about scheduled maintenance. Problem was the maintenance date stated in the messages was early August!?!

    As of now, online banking has not been accessible for about 48 hours. Contact center reps are clueless and all indications are that BMO Harris could care less. I hope everyone who is threatening to take their business elsewhere follows through. It's the only way to hold financial institutions accountable for their actions (or, in this case, lack of action).
